Jaime Díaz-Ocejo, PhD

Spain | Qatar

Jaime is the Sport Psychologist of Qatar National Football -first- Team (Qatar Football Association, QFA). He is a Chartered Psychologist by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and has been a Senior Sport Psychologist at Aspire Academy (Qatar) from 2008 to 2019, and Lead Sport Psychologist from 2020 to 2021. Jaime’s experience in different high-performance environments is quite extensive, including the German BMW-Sauber Formula 1 Team, world-class pianists at the Dublin International Piano Festival and the Royal Spanish Fencing Federation.

Jaime has accompanied Aspire and Qatar Athletics Federation (QAF) athletes as a Sport Psychologist to five World Athletics Championships (Doha 2010 -indoor-; Bydgoszcz 2016 -U20-; London 2017; Tampere 2018 -U20-; Doha 2019), and the Asian Games in Jakarta-Palembang, 2018.
