Dr Atef Hashem

Dr Hashem Qualified from Benghazi University in Libya in 1998. In the year 2001 he was awarded a scholarship grant to pursue his postgraduate studies in the field of prosthodontics in The Dublin Dental University Hospital, Trinity College, Ireland where he completed his Master Degree (MDentCh) in 2005.

Dr. Atef Hashem was awarded a scholarship grant from the Dublin Dental University Hospital to do a PhD degree while working as a clinician in the Special Dental Needs Clinic, Division of Restorative Dentistry and Periodontology and as a Clinical teacher for the dental undergraduate students which he completed in 2012.

Field of interest is the interdisciplinary management of patients with developmental dental anomalies such as hypodontia and Amelogenesis Imperfecta.

In April 2015 Dr. Atef Hashem joined the Sport’s Dentistry Department in Aspetar as a consultant prosthodontist and is providing prosthodontics care for Athletes.
