Daniel Thomas Kim

Daniel Kim joined FIFA in 2018 as an anti-doping coordinator, being responsible for anti-doping testing and ADAMS data integration and since 2020 has been promoted to anti-doping manager within the FIFA Anti-Doping Unit. In this capacity, he is responsible for the set-up of FIFA’s yearly test distribution plan as well as the practical implementation of FIFA’s testing strategy. As such he was responsible for the testing programme at various FIFA tournaments, most recently the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica, the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in India and the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. Additionally, he monitors the results management of doping cases in football handled by Member Associations, Confederations, NADOs and other national-level bodies to ensure the correct implementation of the FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations and the World Anti-Doping Code.

Daniel Kim finished his studies with a Master of Law degree at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Furthermore, he completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in International Sports law in 2018. In addition, he was a team member of the Technical Working Group of WADA regarding the establishment of professional standards for results management in anti-doping.
