Dr. Alka Beotra

Dr. Alka Beotra is currently a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Anti-Doping lab in Qatar. She is a globally recognized Anti-Doping scientist with an extensive career spanning 35 years (1990–2025) in WADA-accredited Anti-Doping laboratories. She served as the Director of the National Dope Testing Laboratory,
India till 2016 and later as Director, Anti-Doping lab in Qatar. She also served as the Director of Qatar APMU (Athlete Passport Management Unit). Her contributions to Anti-Doping research is focused on Anti-Doping science, drug metabolism, and sports supplements. She has authored over 115 papers published in peer-reviewed journals She has successfully managed and led sample testing of major national & international games both in India and Qatar.

She contributed to the drug testing efforts for the Olympic games testing in London (2012) and Rio de Janeiro (2016).
