Azrul is a senior physiotherapist with experience in musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation, especially sports injuries. His expertise includes manual therapy, pain management, and multidisciplinary collaboration, particularly in rehabilitation.
He also devised a comprehensive post-surgical recovery program, spearheaded community outreach initiatives, and made significant contributions to research advancements with an emphasis on post-surgical rehabilitation and the resumption of athletic activities, particularly concerning lower limb injuries. Since 2010, he has been an integral member of ISN, supervising the rehabilitation of national athletes, formulating tailored rehabilitation programs for each individual, and providing medical support for the national team during international competitions.
