• Introduced the first Dental Emergency Kit for athletes in the Middle East.
• Received two certificates of intellectual creativity for the Dental Emergency Kit from the Ministry of
Commerce and Industry.
• Trained all Clubs & Federations medical staff on how to deal with oral injuries in the field by using the
dental emergency kit (DEK).
• Trained Hamad Medical Corporation emergency physicians on how to deal with oral injuries in the field
by using the dental emergency kit (DEK).
• Provided training for Paris Saint-Germain F.C. Medical staff on how to deal with oral injuries in the field
by using the dental emergency kit (DEK).
• Directed the implementation of the National Clinical Guideline for Dental Injuries in professional sports
in Qatar.
• Developed the first sports dentistry screening clinic programme in the State of Qatar to contribute to
the assessment of the overall health of Athletes at Aspetar.
• Conducted research on oral health in international athletes in the Middle East and wrote a medical
article that was published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine.
