Dr Bahar Hassanmirzaei

Dr Bahar Hassanmirzaei is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Specialist who graduated from Iran and has recently joined the Aspetar Sports Injury and Illness Prevention (ASPREV) Project as a Post Graduate Researcher and Ph.D. student. She is also studying Health MBA and Football Management.

Dr. Bahar is an AFC (Asian Football Confederation) Medical Committee member and started her career with AFC as a Medical and Doping Control Officer in 2017.

She was always involved with football, medicine, and research. Her former positions in this regard were: Head of Medical Department of Iran Football Federation/ Head of Research & Development Department, IFMARK, FIFA Medical Center of Excellence, Tehran. Iran/ National Woman Football and Futsal Team Physician/ and Sports Medicine Post Doc Fellow. Sports medicine research center, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran.
