Col. (Ret) Dr Reema Alhisani

Retired Colonel Dr. Reema Alhosani is a Consultant in Sports Medicine and one of the UAE’s pioneering women in sports leadership. With a distinguished background in medical, technical, and administrative roles, she has dedicated her career to advancing sports medicine, Anti-
Doping, education, and research both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Alhosani currently serves as the Global Coordinator for Traditional Pharmacopoeia in Sports at UNESCO, Head of the Arab Regional Taskforce on Sports Ethics, and Head of the Medical
Committee at the Arab Cycling Federation. She is also a senior medical and doping control officer for FIFA and the AFC, and a member of the Sport Medicine Examiners Panel at the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi. She was the first Arab woman appointed to the World Anti- Doping Agency’s Health, Medicine, and Research Committee.
