Associate Professor Dr. Ranjeet Ajit Bapat

Dr. Ranjeet Bapat is presently working as an Associate Professor at IMU University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has Academic and Clinical experience of 18 years in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. He is currently the Program Director for Post-Graduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry at International Medical University, Malaysia. Has been a Postgraduate guide for Master’s program in Periodontology (MDS) in India. Has obtained Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from ISOI. Has several publications in various international journals of high impact and tier ONE category. Has also obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) — Royal College of Surgeons from Glasgow [ MFDS RCPS (Glasgow) ] and from Edinburgh [MFDS RCSEd].
His name was listed as World’s Top 2% Scientists as per Stanford University’s lists of World Top 2% Scientists released on 4 October 2023. The US-based Stanford University has released year 2022 list that represents the top 2% of the most-cited scientists in various disciplines. This large database was prepared by experts at Stanford University, USA by analysing the quality of research cited by other researchers in year 2022.
Dr.Ranjeet was honoured with FIRST PRIZE for Business Process Improvement for Implant clinics in IMU for 2018, FIRST PRIZE for Research & Publications in International Medical University in 2017-2018, FIRST PRIZE for Development of New Programme- Postgraduate diploma in implant dentistry (PGDID) in International Medical University in 2016-2017. He has completed Basic and Advanced Teachers Training Program. Has also been a University Examiner for BDS and MDS examination under MUHS. Underwent training in various e-learning workshops for development online learning resources. He has been guiding undergraduate students in conducting pilot studies to enhance their research skills.
