Dr Khouloud Mtibaa
Dr Khouloud Mtibaa is a Laboratory Manager at the College of Health and Life Sciences in Hamad Ben Khalifa University. Previously, Dr Khouloud was a Teaching Assistant in the Sports Science Program in Qatar University. In 2018, she obtained her PhD in Exercise Physiology at Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 in France. In 2013, she was valedictorian in her master’s degree in Sports and Physical Education in Tunisia. In the research field, Dr Khouloud has authored and co-authored several papers published in honorable scientific journals. She has participated and presented in numerous national and international conferences (e.g., ECSS: European College of Sport Science, ISAFA: International Science and Football Association) in France, Qatar, Tunisia and Sweden. Also, she was awarded with the 1st Prize Young Investigator Award on the International Science and Football Conference in 2016. Professionally, Dr Khouloud is a certified Basketball coach from Tunisia. She is also a certified health fitness specialist from the “European Health & Fitness Association”. She has experienced working in various organisations in Tunisia and Qatar (e.g., Aspire Academy) through many different fitness domains. She enjoys all aspects of sports and fitness and is eager to spread that passion to others!
